Jeff is the left-handed guitar player that has played in numerous bands in the LaCrosse area. Among them; Union Jack, Disorient Express, Dream 13, The Tortue Kings, and The Jesters. He spends his working days at Dave's Guitar Shop. Jeff still has been known to sit in with Mr. Blink. If you are lucky enough to be around one of those nights...look out...Jeff heats things up. Jeff was the creator of the "MR. BLINK" lettering and the inventor of the mystery box. He also played on "This Place in Time". Jeff is now playing with The Sonic Beats with Laun Braithwaite.
Rick has filled in for Nancy and also has his band "Migrant Workers Bound for France". Rick recently graduated from Viterbo. Past bands include: Pipestone, the Wails, and Showcase. He has a new band now called Overboard.
Beth was in Mr. Blink for over a year. That was an interesting line-up wth Nancy and Beth trading vocals and keys. Mark plays trombone in Section 8 and Beth played keyboards in LB and the U-Turns. They both are music teachers in Praire DuChien.
Mike Starling was the original bass player for Mr. Blink. He used to work for the LaCrosse Tribune. . He was in Buzz Butler and his own band BeanHoy. He recently moved to Boulder, Colorado.
Dave has played drums and bass for Mr. Blink. He also experienced a road trip to the infamous Buzzard Billy's Armadillo Bar and Grillo, Waco Texas. Dave is one of the best all-round musicians in La Crosse. His Dad played with the Tommy Dorsey Orchestra. He is currently the drummer for Flibbittygibbet.
Travis "Tree" Christopherson has one of the sweetest slides on the trombone. Tree shows up to jam with Blink at the oddest times...you never know when he'll around. Tree recently recorded with the band at Sleepless Nights studio in Madison. Listen for him on "I Only Got One Brat" on the new Mr. Blink cd.
Enrique More is a Cuban refuge. When he played with Mr. Blink he brought authenticity to much of their reggae music and fire to a lot of their other songs. Unfortunately, Enrique is currently in prison.
The "Couex" was the original drummer for Mr. Blink and the Disorient Express. The only drummer I know to give himself a bloody nose with his stick.
Although never a member technically, Laun has jammed many times with the band. He has played in Disorient Express, one of LaCrosse's long lost great bands. Disorient put out two tapes, "Oh No, Here Comes That Funny Feeling Again" and "It's a Guitar World". Laun and Mike Caucutt also released "Crash Landing in Teenage Heaven" under the Pseudo-band name "The Koolies". Laun is LB and also plays in "The Sonic Beats" and "The Fax".
Andy has filled in for Tim a couple of times. He also is a fine actor and artist. He has shown his artwork in La Crosse galleries.
Originally Mr. Blink's first percussionist but moved over to drums for a short time. He was in the band Buzz Butler wilth Mike Starling and Jim Peterson before moving to Alaska.
The trumpet player for Mr. Blink during our 'horn section' phase.
The trombone player during the 'horns, inc.' phase of the band.
Tracy took over Mike's position when he went to London in 1990.
Lou has subbed for Cowboy on saxophone a couple of times. Played with The Wails and numerous La Crosse blues bands.
After his raunchy version of "Rock and Roll" by Led Zepplin while wearing a Green Bay Packer football helmet, Chris went into retirement. Now in Des moines opening up his third Buzzard Billy's restaurant..
DuWayne joined the band early as its first congo player. Now retired, he taught Art at UW-La Crosse. He was in the band Blind Baby Olin and the Workbenches.
Chad has been known to play cowbell with the band on special occasions. His day job is a sports dude at Channel 19 and dj for the BUZZ radio station.
Hans sat in one gig on bass. Past member of Blind Baby Olin and the Workbenches and Jawbone, he now spends most of his time as solo children's artist and playing with Dan Sebranek and the String Ties.
Brian played with the band at Bubba's in Owatona, Minnesota. He is a great bass player and singer. He also is a certified acupuncture therapist.
Jim (formerly known as Jughead) played guitar for a few gigs at the Bikini Yacht Club. He was in many La Crosse bands (Buzz Butler, Junk Farm, TheLampshades, Union Jack) before he moved to Minneanpolis. His latest band is Connie and has been known to perform under the name Pete Sun.
Dean and Kristen Elmer
Guest vocalists on "I Only Got One Brat" from the Mr. Blink cd and twice rode the Oktoberfest float with the band.
Excellent guitarist who played a gig with the band at the Stonesthrow in Eau Claire. Joe was also in the band The Wails.
Keyboard jammer, plays with Dave's Not Here. Recently graduated from the big school.
The Drunkest Guy or Girl in the Bar
Like white on rice, this person always manages to fall into the band, or attempt to play an instrument, or the classic - "sing-a-long". Known to steal percussion instruments and stage props, they are entertaining, pitiful and sometimes members of the band.
At TC's and Gretchen's wedding, the cousin of the groom jammed guitar on one or four songs.
