and endangered species, and environmental
contaminants. Findings are used by resource managers and decision
makers in the Department of the Interior, other federal agencies, states,

A project of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. I used Arcview (3.0) to create maps of moose locations. Audio and video clips are served. This site is utilized by teachers and scientists to "adopt a moose" and track its location with bi-monthly updates.

The Gap analysis program is a project of the Biological Resources Division of the U.S. Geological Survey. It is being implemented nationwide with the help of over 400 cooperating organizations, including the private sector, non-profit groups and other government agencies. |

This
site is only accessable with Center IP addresses. When the Environmental
Management Technical Center and the Upper Mississippi Science Center
merged into the Upper Midwest Environmental Sciences Center, the Intranet
became an important tool that provided the staff (in two buildings -
miles apart), a common ground.
